The final ZETA Roundtable of 2024 took place on December 9 at the Siemens Energy Innovation Center in Abu Dhabi, focusing on the role of technology in promoting sustainable trading practices.
Titled "Harnessing Technology to Foster Sustainable Trading," the roundtable featured discussions on various innovative initiatives, including the Kaspa Industrial Initiative. The conversation explored how blockchain technology can create transparent, efficient, and inclusive markets.
Mohamad El Nahi presented the NGX (NextGreen) platform, which tracks real-time emissions and issues Environmental Attribute Certificates for projects of all sizes. He highlighted the opportunity for small-scale green energy projects to generate revenue through carbon credits.
The session wrapped up with a lively Q&A, encouraging further dialogue among the participants.
