A Heartfelt Thanks to All Participants of the Third ZETA Roundtable

We recently gathered in Dubai for the Third ZETA Roundtable, a milestone event in our journey towards climate neutrality in the Gulf region. The Zero Emissions Traders Alliance (ZETA), with its extensive experience in low carbon commodities trading, continues to lead the charge in developing a market framework that prioritizes climate neutrality alongside energy security.

This roundtable focused on the transition to trading in low carbon and renewable energy carriers, a crucial step for the MENA region in achieving 'net zero' emissions. The Clean Energy Hub Initiative was a key topic, proposing the creation of regional hubs to increase the liquidity of green molecules and ensure equitable market access.

Our gratitude extends to the distinguished speakers who shared their insights:

  • Jan Haizmann, Secretary General of ZETA, for setting the stage with opening remarks that underscored the alliance’s commitment to facilitating a sustainable energy transition.
  • Peter Styles, for highlighting the value of Renewable Energy Sources-Electricity (RES-E) in the European market.
  • Wouter Vanhoudt from HINICIO, for sharing the European experience with the HyBex hydrogen exchange.
  • Frank Wouters, for discussing scalable business models for clean hydrogen.

Their contributions, along with the dynamic panel discussion, have paved the way for actionable strategies to promote sustainable energy solutions.

Thank you to all who participated for your commitment and collaboration towards a sustainable future. Your engagement is crucial as we continue to work together towards our collective goals. We look forward to furthering our journey with you.
